NORTH MALUKU SITE
FUTURE PROJECT

At Luminar Energy, we are dedicated to harnessing the incredible potential of nature's best gift: flowing water. As an independent power producer, we want to employ innovative and sustainable technologies to generate clean and renewable energy. We aim for our hydroelectric power plants to leverage the force of rivers to generate electricity, minimizing environmental impact while maximizing all-encompassing efficiency.
Our mission started when we realized the great needs for power in many remote places across the Indonesian archipelago. We chose North Maluku to be our first site location for a few reasons. First of all, North Maluku is blessed with abundant water resources, making it an ideal environment for hydroelectric power generation. The province also contains many remote regions that need better access to a reliable electricity supply, therefore presenting us with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of local communities.

Towards a Greener Carbon Neutral World
Some call it a vision.
We make it our goal.
As governments and companies all around the world aim to reduce their carbon footprint on this world, we are doing our part by sustaining the environment while harnessing hydropower-based energy for some people of Indonesia who need it the most in North Maluku.
Clean Water - Clean Power

The remarkable process behind the production of hydropower is the falling of water.

Our North Maluku project site would borrow the flow of the majestic Opyang river in order to spin the generators by rotating the powerhouse turbines — producing electricity.
But water does run out.
Not in this case though.
Quite literally, the fall of one thing (namely water) is the rise of another (namely clean energy).
